Road and Track Review of V6 1LE
Maybe I missed it, but I don't see this linked anywhere?
http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cult...camaro-v6-1le/ It is amazing to me how far under the radar the V6 1LE has become. You can find them for under $30k, and that is a lot of car for the money. |

I found this V6 1le at Koons for 29k
https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...9090/overview/ I'm in the market for a Gen5 1le but I cant find them for less than 30k. Sometimes I think about just going and picking up this v6 for 29. |

Man, you guys are super lucky with your bonus tags and discounts. Dealerships are only ordering loaded 2LT 1LEs in Canada. On top of that, most are only offering the $1,500 manufacturer discount, which makes the price $4,000 less than a 2SS. Oh Canada.

I don't get the reluctance of people to travel for a killer deal. I mean, $8000 is $8000. Even with it being a three day drive from where I live, I would fly to the east coast on some crappy low rent airline, buy a car and drive it back. Figure $300 for the flight, $300 for three cheap hotels along the way, 50 cents a mile for 1700 miles - $850 for gas/oil/tires. ~$1500 vs. a $5-8000 savings? Plus you have a three day adventure. |

Somebody who has the V6 1LE, can you compare the ride to other cars you own?
I'm interested because the R&T review said a harsh ride on the street. My tolerance for a harsh ride is high but I was curious what you think. Roads in NJ are far from perfect by the way. Last edited by RobertSmith; 05-21-2017 at 09:34 AM. |

From 120mph to 130 mph, something must have happened. Such a slowdown... There no way top speed could be 155 given that anomaly. Glitch, gearing, what?
A switch to a gear too tall to pull at that speed and wind resistance? Last edited by RobertSmith; 05-21-2017 at 02:31 PM. |
