Questions about the Heartbeat supercharger from a potential customer
The sixth gen Camaro is a dream to own and drive but I want to go faster. This is what I have my eyes on:
Camaro Stage 1 620HP Supercharger package. – Baseline chassis dyno – Magnuson TVS 2300 “Heartbeat” Supercharger (fit’s under stock hood) – Water to Air Intercooler system – Includes all brackets, hoses and pulleys – Heavy Duty PWR Heat Exchanger – 8 Rib Dedicated Supercharger Drive Pulley – Magnuson Tune and Calibration – Includes professional installation – Final chassis dyno numbers including wide band air/fuel ratio graph Should cost around $15,000 CAD. Now, I would love to hear some opinions on the Magnuson's supercharger and how it fits with the LT1. I'm primarily worried about reliability over the long run, as this car is my daily driver (close to the 6000 miles mark after six months) and I'd like to keep it going for at least six years until I'm done my education. Our winters last 5 months, and in those, I drive the car like a baby. TL;DR: insight on Magnuson's TVS 2300 supercharger over a long period of real world testing? Anybody claimed the warranty? How did it go? Is the Magnuson warranty a good substitute for GM's original one? |

Our shop 2016 Camaro SS A8 auto we have had since 12/2015, It also has a Heartbeat system on it we purchased and used for evaluation, testing and tuning development. We are extremely pleased with the results from this supercharger system. If you are interested I can give you a good deal on this supercharger with mostly Dyno pulls on it. Since it seems you are in Calgary, I assume that you are considering Davenport for your mods? They are a reputable shop that stand behind their work, I'm sure you'll be very happy with your upgrade.
