I figured this was best to post under this forum subject, because you other fifty folks would understand.

Took the fifty into my dealer Robbins Chevy to get a TSB addressed:

#16-NA-304 - Thump Noise When Changing HVAC Modes - (Sep 15, 2016)

Checked the car in a couple days ago. Told them to put it on the list behind others who had bigger problems than my thud. Porter picked up my keys saying "I'm not going to let anyone else touch this car since it's a standard". He pulled it into the service drive (covered garage) and off to the side. Did not think anything about it.

A couple days later stopped in to see if they had a chance to look at it. Could not believe my eyes, it was still sitting on the service drive, off to the side, and had been garaged the whole time. In other words, was not taken to the back lot. She was sitting behind a red vette.

The porter picked me up today after getting a call it was done. I asked why I was so lucky that mine sat on the service drive off to the side with the vette. He replied, "We thought your fifty deserved to be in the special area we have reserved for 'vettes and other specials".

Made my day.

Shoot... bring some of that Texas love to other dealers! The ones in Florida don't know their ass from a hole in the wall. Unless absolutely necessary, I avoid the dealer like a plague!

Agreed, except for Becky's. But that's one long drive for service. Granted I drove home from there so, lol.

If I had known about camaro6.com and Becky before I made my purchase, she would of had a Texas visitor to pick up a fifty from her. Sorry Becky!

Well, thanks to this Forum, I just made another "investment" into my Fifty..... ......

Just talked to my Dealer and he is able to get me the GM ground effects - side skirts only!!!!! Order will be placed tomorrow morning, then sent off for paint as soon as they are received.

I am hoping they will be received, painted and installed in the next few weeks. I also just had my car ceramic coated two weeks ago, so I called my Detailer about polishing and applying the CQuartz to the side skirts. He said the paint needs to cure for 30 days. Afrer that, bring it to him, and for $20 and a few beers, he will do the side skirts....... ......
Pretty pumped......I really like the look of those GM color matched side skirts........ ...
