CEL on , time for a tune?

Wife was on my ass about modding her car some, i went the primary cat delete toute now im getting the p0420-p0430 im assuming bc cats are removed. I was gonna do a thing or 2 else to the car but didnt wanna harm the warranty. Seems like the car will need a tune now to take care of the CEL? Her remote start is gone bc of it i think thats her biggest concern lol. Any help in the direction in which to get this hamdled the easiest and quickest way is appreciated. We have HP tuners for my vette if that helps! Thanks guys!

removing cats bins your warranty anyway, and yes removing primary cats will throw codes because the car has O2 sensors that check the cats are working

you need a tune and your warranty is already gone, its great you already have HP tuners so getting it done shouldn't cost you much at all

Well worst cast i could add my cats back on to pass warranty issues. But once its flashed its kinda too far gone at that point. Im not against it obviously but was curious, anyone on the page have a decent tune to purchase without going through a shop? My other 2 cars are tuned through vengeance but only bc the are 800+ hp . But i think its a bit overkill for it for them but that maybe my only avenue.

If you have a tuner you trust then I would stick with them to be honest, give them a call, if you already have hp tuners then it will be easier for you to hook it up, if you do a remote tune with anyone then they will need extra credits to add your car so I'm not sure it will save you anything.

Or you could put the cats back on and go with mods that wont throw codes like an axel back and intake

What did you do with the 4 O2 sensors when you removed the primary cats? Why did you remove them to begin with?

Supercharged Gen 6s are making 700+ rwhp with stock exhausts.

You need to have the tune corrected.

Do you have HP Tuners?

If you are interested in doing a remote tune PM me. We can talk about what would be necessary.

Test pipes have o2 sensor slots in them , you just screw them back in ...

If you are using the CA pipes, that accounts for front two. Where did you install the back two sensors? It might be worth a try to have some O2 bungs welded in behind the secondary cats and put the second sensors there.

I kept the rear sensors in factory location, and the test pipes are where the fronts screw in.
