I fixed that for you.

At the RSW ProSolo, the 2 1LE's finished 3rd and 6th out of 10. 1 and 2 were Z06's.

I wonder if there will be any at Nats this year?

Most other 1LE/ZL1 guys I talk to are switching to CAM next year.

Oh, and yes, the 1LE and ZL1 are both AS. Sure. That makes sense.

As I'm reading the SCCA classing guidelines, it looks like we can run CAM-C, correct?

its sad but true lol. I was already to run the 1LE i almost bought in AS all season and at national events for proof of it needing to be moved. Deal fell through though so 1ss FS it is for me.

A little off topic but can someone explain to me why we are classed in A-Street but we can actually get a better PAX handicap by running CAM? Seems like it would be the smart move for all of us to run CAM. That being said I'm going to run A-Street in my region because I prefer the competition there.

AS is .819
camc is .823

so its not really "better" its not much harder than AS, but its not easier.

I'm seeing different numbers on our regions timing app, but you are right. I mistook Cam C to be a better number.

I'm seeing A=.833 Cam C=.839

Yep, and judging by what's on the side of his car in the pic from SCCA, that's what the new prez is running his SS1LE in.

Hey, if nothing else he knows a good car/bargain when he sees one.

Nice. Had I ran CAMC in my last (and only) autox, I would have placed 1st in class for the day (3 other cars).

I ran with Mike and his co-driver at the first SCCA AutoX in Dallas this year. Cool guy with a lot of experience. He had the same aggravation on the AS class (which he runs in) but overall they both smoked me and the other 1LE in our class by 2+ seconds. So, I'm thinking he'll manage to stomach it for a bit longer. Haha
