Congrats - looks awesome. I have nearly the same car... A10 rather than M6 and no sunroof. I ordered mine from Main Motor in Anoka and picked it up mid-April. I haven't been driving mine until I get PPF and ceramic coating done. Had full paint correction done a week ago - amazing how many swirls the car had for zero miles on it. Dropped it off this morning for Xpel, and will pick it up Wednesday. Having ceramic coating done next Monday, then I can start driving... Will be on the look out for another Red Hot ZL1 in the Twin Cities... would be fun to hook up sometime - maybe see you at c&c? Congrats

Way to set the example for those that come on here and complain they have to drive over to the next city to get theirs to get what they want.
I'm the opposite, I don't get white, black, silver, gray cars (although I will not do yellow). I like cars to have color, I've had black and white cars, didn't care for them. Most of my fun cars have been blue or red, although the majority have always been red. Its all personal preference. No tint.

This will probably be my last performance car before retirement. This trip mimic'd the first time I ever bought a performance car. Ordered an 85 Trans Am with TPI and the WS6 suspension in 1985 from an auto broker in Detroit. Was supposed to get drop shipped to my dealer but didn't make it, ended up in Detroit. The broker paid for my airfare to fly down and drive it home.

Its definitely smaller interior wise, not as wide. There used to be an inch or two of rear seat room with the drivers seat all the way, this car there is none. The roof height is lower than the gen5, but even with the sunroof the headroom is about the same for me. Sound is completely different out of the exhaust, more of a bark than a rumble. I liked the M6 shifter in my 1LE better, nice and tight, this one feels rubbery in comparison, but shifts smoother than my 2013.

Haven't had the chance to really play with it yet, but the little bit I played around with it on the interstate its definitely a handler, brakes are phenomenal, and the acceleration is out of this world, and I was only running it in tour mode.

Also got good gas mileage, got 23mpg on the first tank running 75-85 in places and did several blasts up past 100mph. On the second tank I set the cruise at 77 and ran with it, got 24.5mpg on that tank, beats the 20mpg listed on the sticker as a highway rating.

I should be at C&C in June, unless its pouring. I do my own coatings, I use Blackfire products. Could use some color correction, I noticed the orange peel is worse on this car than my 2013 Camaro.
