Best time on stock tires? A10 zl1 - Page 5

Is Steve's car stock or does it have an intake? I thought I read somewhere that it did, but I'm not sure if it's the same car. Either way, great run on street tires.

If you put it in track, it stays open all the time. I have mine that way. That way you can put it in other modes, from the dash, if your need changes for a single occasion.

20 psi. Yes I have intake. Rotofab. Next time I will run with and without. Honestly the 127 blew me away and that was with a 10 mph headwind. The low mph on the other pass I am sure now I let off to soon because my dash was reading 128 just like it did on the first pass and my 1/8 mile mph was acually faster.

Maybe the mph clock was just inaccurate on that second pass, all the other numbers seem to add up.

Yesterday I went to Bremerton and did 4-5 passes figuring everything out and kept getting 11.7's and on my 6th pass managed to get a 11.270 @ 129.19mph w/1.837 60ft on stock tires with a RotoFab CAI. My PSI was at 37, it was overcast and was in the mid 50's if I remember correctly.

I did a good 10 second burnout with the line lock. I was in track mode with the launch control in RACE. When I pulled up to the line I pressed the break 100% down and then pressed the gas peddle down 100% and the rpm's spiked and then settled on 2000 if I remember correctly. On the third yellow light on the tree I lifted my foot off the break and rocketed down the strip to get my best time.

It started to rain shortly after so I haven't been able to duplicate it yet but I plan to try again this Friday.

Still playing around with the launch settings.

Royal Purple Raceway 5/12/17, 850 miles on the odometer, 3920lbs with a half tank of gas. Completely stock, tires set at 37PSI!!

Ran a 11.549 at 121 (seems very low MPH compared to most) 1.81 60' was the best time of the day, first pass of the day too. Launched in Race mode, launch control at 1500RPM. Tried several different methods, flashing off the line, higher launch RPM and it was spin city.

I assume the 3920lbs isn't with driver, or is it?...think those days are gone without striping the car. My 67 was 3650ish lbs with driver.
