Did he intend to speed? Probably not. So there was no intent. Can't be charged unless the law can prove intent and he intended to speed. FBI Director James Comey says there must be intent.

Use the Waze app. It will usually notify you of police.

. That along with a good radar detector and common sense should keep you free of tickets.

Waze is friggin awesome. Anytime I have to drive through Virginia (radar detectors are illegal there) I already know where they are. Its fantastic.

I'm sorry, but you don't accidentally go 116mph.....there was certainly intent. Any judge in the world would laugh at you if you tried that as your defense for 116mph

He was just making a joke in relation to some of the political goings on with the recent firing of the FBI director and some of his recent decisions.

Virginia is literally one of the top 3 worst places to live in the US.

Speed limit 70 .. cool ... 80 is an automatic reckless driving ticket. If you have never had a $1000 speeding ticket go fast in virginia.

I agree that intent needs to be proven. If that's how breaches of top secret classified information are prosecuted it should be the same for speeding.

Speeding is one of those subjects around here that escalate out of hand really fast though so if you're in front of your computer for the work day get some popcorn.
