Hubs on, No heat, die grinder with a flappy wheel, polished the ID, anti sneeze.
Nice tight fit slid on smooth.

Thanks buddy.

SIDE NOTE: Whipple SC, before installing the SC, deal with the fuel lines on top of engine. (easy to get too) Bend lines pointing to driver side, or out of the way. It will look cleaner.

Did you remove the foam insulator btw the engine and intake manifold? Or modified like one on the Magnuson manual? (6" cut to cover the pump..nosie)

Btw, I got 3 supplied bolts left after installation. How about you?

I'm not done with install, so no idea about spare parts yet.

I had some leftover large bolts and a hose ( sent two of same ). I removed the foam piece entirely.

30 year mechanic, I always had spare parts....And ever hole was filled, every bolt was installed....lol. Ya, I deleted foam too, (cleaning, inspection,..cant do that with foam) Nick, any more noise with it removed??.....Hood closed, driving, or just sitting running??? I figure, if it's too noise I'll fix it. Top end is SO easy to pull.
But then again, I'm not building a BMW sedan. At all RPM ranges, I want to hear ABNORMAL noises before I have to shut it down.

With the hood open I can hear them clicking away. Once driving I can't hear them if I try. With the hood closed you can faintly hear injectors / pumps with window down but not at all with it up.

Edit to add: To motivate you to get that car buttoned up this weekend Brett. I just did some burnouts and launches. The Whipple is an absolute beast. It's only 60f out but I broke the tires loose at 80. Not just skittering but full on mushroom cloud of smoke behind me.

THANK YOU NICK, The question of noise was for the others to install. (Is it needed) kinda thing. We have several that are watching... (cause the instructions suck a....) I am motived.....However my State is uncooperative...lol. Otherwise I would finish and re-write the.....DESTRUCTIONS. Many have done this with limited experience, (mechanical) Putting something together that is real outside their realm.
IF IT ISN'T FUN.... send it in, let someone else climb over your car...lol, just pay the bill, then tell your buddy's what YOU built...LMFAO.

Dont worry they aren't important.

JK WTF? That would have me concerned. Did you use any bolts from factory that may have been included to replace factory OEM bolts maybe? I hope it's just that, or extras....
