Saw a Red Hot ZL1 on a Transporter - wow!
So yesterday was the first time I saw a '17 ZL1 in the wild and I must say it really blew me away.
My wife and I were going out to dinner and while going down the interstate we happened upon a semi-transporter hauling a bunch of Camaros. At the front of the transporter was a car on top that grabbed my attention like nothing I've seen for a long, long time... it was a Red Hot '17 ZL1. And - it looked incredible. I couldn't get a pic but all I can say is that the car looks even more menacing and downright wicked in person than any picture could ever show, even while strapped to a car transporter. It just sat there with a 'Don't even THINK about it...' attitude... Kudos to those of you who already have one! The car looks absolutely sick.

Yeah I just saw a ZL1 1LE on the freeway, all white. Gorgeous and menacing.

Yeah, the entire time they were leading up to release, I was wishy-washy on it. I really don't think it looks great in most pictures. Videos helped of course, but I wasn't really sold until the first time I saw one in person. This is also the only car I've ever considered in red. It looks pretty amazing.

It's why I ordered one, I love the look. Reminds me back when I was a kid and had a chance to trade my 86 maxima straight up for a red 68 Camaro. Was too scared to do it and have regretted it ever since. This will go a long way in making up for that

I was so stunned at how much better the car looked than the pictures - and the pictures are awesome in their own right.
But somehow seeing it in more than one dimension just gives the entire car a completely different look to it. I can't really explain it but that view of the car on that transporter and how the black accents and grille, etc, just went so well together. The look was haunting...

My local dealer just got one in. I went to look at it, as I hadn't seen one in person yet. There is definitely something about this car that pictures don't capture well. It looks downright mean in person.

Black is the last color I would've considered getting, but somehow that's what I ended up with. It looks incredible! That being said, it was really difficult deciding on a color for this car, they all look fantastic!
