The way I see it, the only silly question is the one you don't ask. That's how you learn what you don't know, right

Well, after seeing some vids, I'm not so sure 17...lol. No issues on admitting to being a ding-dong at times.

I'm really not sure if I like the pdr version or the go pro over the shoulder...I kinda dig the out the windshield & seeing the dash simultaneously, but the pdr is more vivid in regards to understanding the 'view' of what the car is doing. The vette vids here look like the camera is over the hood vs the side mirrors I hear will be on the ZL but don't matter I reckon. It will all get resolved in the spring I hope.

Cool stuff, a must have if you track your car a lot.

Not sure where you heard the PDR is around a "side mirror"?

It's located in front of the "rearview" mirror like the Vette looking forward. Reason the Vette looks like it's almost a dashcam is because of the angle of the windshield on a Vette. It's super steep... Hope that helps.

Indeed....thank you.

I'm not certain where I locked onto the whole mirror / pdr placement...maybe I mistook it for some other sensors being mentioned?? Doesn't matter, appreciate the feedback.

PDR Demo on a 2015 Corvette

The Camaro system may work a little different, but it is probably very similar if it's not the same.

I have my Escourt 9500ix with a blendmount and have no issue with the PDR in my Vette. From what I have read, they both have the same mirror.

I have the blendmount and Escort Redline in my 2017 ZL1. No issues with the PDR recorder.

I actually like the lower resolution. My Go Pro would fill up Memory Cards like there was no tomorrow. With PDR, I get to see everything I need to see... with throttle and brake overlays, etc..., I get long record times, and I don't eat up huge space on my computer. If I was filming a movie, that would be another story.

Ye, very disappointing. We must get 1080p. I guess I'll just continue to use my GoPro.

Here is the Fat32 formatter :

So can you please tell me how long the PDR can record on a 64 Gb SD card? Not sure how to figure this out and don't trust the Best Buy sales guys. Thanks.
