It takes a loooong time to acclimate yourself to the track vs. street speed delta. Getting gas at lunch is also fairly normal. Otherwise you have to bring your own in 5-gal jugs.

Yeah, had to get gas three times in one day at the same gas station.

I drove up to the track in the morning, so I filled up first thing to start the day with a full tank.

I went out after the first three sessions and filled up

I filled up after I was done for the drive home. Credit card declined due to trying to get gas at the same station three times in one day.....LOL.

It was the only station around with 93 octane, so it was that or at the track, which was really high priced.
