Why pray for the family of the guy that caused it? His parents raised a douche which means they're probably douches too.

I hate this "he made a mistake" garbage. Yeah I made mistakes in life. Dated the wrong girl. Forgot to put the garbage out on garbage night. Bought the wrong part for the job. Those are mistakes.

Driving like an idiot? Going airborne? That's not a mistake that's being a douche.

Guess you could prey that the idiot who hit the Malibu has enough assets and insurance so that the people in the Malibu aren't screwed even worse than they are already.

But judging by their life decisions, I doubt that.

Was already posted here, in an equally dumb thread with a clickbait title too.

Stupid drivers are stupid regardless of what they drive.

Sadly, we all know the answer to this. I mean take a poll in here (not meaning to be disrespectful to anyone in here) and ask how many people carry more than the state minimum coverage required for their state.

I carry 100k/300k/100k on our cars and I am pretty sure that isn't enough if anything happens. I mean heck, my wifes Audi SQ5 is a $65k vehicle. A nice GM crew cab truck or SUV is $60k-80k now. A Camaro 2SS or ZL1 can hit $60k easily.

You pray for the family of the accused because they have to live with the actions of their offspring...Good parenting does not always equate to a good child, and in this case he looked to be in his thirties...The parents of the victims have to forgive the accused and make peace with his family, as well as themselves, failing to do so could affect their blessings and relationship with God if they have one...

As the family member of someone killed by a drunk driver I can assure you not every family has to follow your bullshitski advice. Right and wrong is settled here on earth with the law and court. And you make sure the f-er who did it suffers and knows what the f he did.

God has nothing to do with it.

Re the insurance mentioned above... Yes, raising the LIABILITY limits is very inexpensive... Having the minimum required can ruin your life and cause you to file bankruptcy if you have an accident that is your fault.. PLEASE ask your insurance company how little it costs to go to 100-300,000.. You will be surprised

If you have a house and other assets consider an umbrella policy ( liability) that kicks in after the 100-300,000... A one or two million dollar umbrella is less expensive than you think.

NO; I am not an insurance guy; just solid advice.

Idk where you got your reasoning from, but parenting has nothing to do with it.

And yeah, I get that that he shouldn't be driving like an idiot in the first place. I'm pretty sure he didn't want to go airborne. He hit the curb after losing control of the car at high speed. Not much he could do after that. Don't think that I am defending this dude in no manner or way to a certain extent. He deserves his punishment, especially for his actions. But in the future, nobody wants to be reminded of their past, no matter how bad it is.

That's just my opinion, and you have yours. Everybody has one.

Searched in the forums five times, and I didn't know what exactly to look for. Not sure how to just post the video, so it was just the link. I'm not sure why it's dumb to you, it was interesting to me and hopefully encourages others not to do stupid things like this

Gonna give it a third to please stop wasting our time with these types of posts. I am a careful driver I don't need a reminder not to be a moron. This is suppose to be forum for info, photo sharing, advice if it's asked for etc etc etc. Not for public service announcements to be careful driving our cars.

You guys are missing the whole point....

The "be careful" advice is given so that in the future we should look out for flying cars headed our way and try to avoid them.
