You would owe me money...
I'm the one guy that reads the manual. I download the PDF to my iPad and read through it.

Good features to point out, nice video

How smooth is the swiping, though? I noticed that you show yourself drawing a horizontal line across the center console screen with your finger, then you pan the camera to the DIC screen near the gauge cluster, and nothing immediately happens. Then after a roughly 2 second delay, it actually shows the info. I guess its just very slow?

On a side note: My god, are infotainment controls ugly. There was an article on Jalopnik complaining that most cars look like they have a 90's version of the winamp player installed. It's not just Camaro or GM -- it's industry wide, with the exception of a couple companies like Tesla and more recently Volvo who have embraced the more modern "less is more" concept where they don't feel compelled to have every single dang icon have a 3d effect with shadows, bevels, glowing, and unnecessary detail. Even with the chat bubble icons, they couldn't leave things alone and added the extraneous detail of having some random extra concentric circles in the middle with a bevel and fake shiny chrome border effect. (Because we all know from reading comics chat bubbles are normally encased in a thick layer of gaudy metal chrome... right? I myself naturally think of metal when I think of chat bubbles. Sure...) Why does every freaking icon have an S-shaped "reflection" effect, and thinking logically for a second, what real-world surface area shape would even create that sort of reflection? o_O For clean design, see CarPlay. /rant

You should probably just watch the video again (and again)....maybe five or six more times at least...A written answer to a question just isn't to be expected right away, if at all....A follow-up video is probably in the works to answer all the questions....

I worked for GM Product Planning until March 31st of this year. All the new cars with the new infotainment systems do that. My wife's Volt does that. Yeah, I knew. In fact, I taught my salesperson that. As well as the location of the trunk button.

As far as the windows thing... I had forgotten about it. I used a Corvette engineer's Stingray convertible for a week or so and he showed me that trick. When I got my own Fifty convertible, I had forgotten that. Thanks for the reminder.

I knew about the opening windows, the trunk button, and starting the car.

My 2011 370Z had the same features for the windows and trunk button. I accidently rolled down my windows in my 370Z on more than one occasion, due to this darn feature. I didn't like that feature at all and there was no way to disable it. Nothing like being somewhere in a store and having your car windows roll down with your backpack full of very expensive items like your Samsung tablet, new laptop, Beats headphones and a bunch of other crap, Your $400 Oakley sunglasses and a loaded gun in my console.

It's a very bad feature. i stopped carrying the FOB in my pocket and started hooking it on to my belt loop for this reason, because just sitting down with other crap in your pockets could open your windows and you don't even know it! You come out to your car at home, after it's been raining, to sit on soaking wet seats. Great idea!

It would be much better if you had to hit one button and then hold down another button, like my GM remote start on my truck.
