Beast Mode is a Raider.

And sissy's should just stay out of football, and the conversation of football. You want to talk about the 2017 NFL offseason, bring it on. You want to talk about football in 20 years, go make your own thread. thanks.

A couple of things here, 1: WTF does espn laying off 100 people have to do with the NFL, more importantly the 2017 NFL offseason? You realize espn covers more than 1 sport? 2: I know misery loves company, but please keep this thread on topic. Make your own thread if you really feel like you need to drag people down to your level. Hell, i'll make a new thread for you, if it's that hard. 3: It's draft day!!!!!

They laid off 100 people like they laid off a lot more last year - this is a direct result of the $24 Billion NBA Contract which is not sustainable.

What I don't get is why you Post in these Football Threads. You admittedly say that you don't watch or care about Football. This Thread is about/for people that enjoy the Game!

Who are hoping for?

I wishing for OJ Howard to fall to the Bucs (not going to happen), and we don't have enough Draft Picks to Trade Up to get him and still draft other positions of need!

I really would like Haason Reddick to fall. Miami is hurting at ILB. Also wouldn't mind TJ Watt. Miami also needs Oline help, but I hope they stay away from cornfed until round 2 or 3. I would be happy with anyone on defense in the first round, really.

Hope the Lions pick the best pass rusher availabile at 21, wether it's a defensive end or linebacker. Just hope Bob Quinn can continue last years slightly above average draft class. Slightly above average for NFL standards, very good by Detroit Lions standards.

With all due respect I felt the topic is about the NFL and today's NFL is dominated by concussions. The NFL and concussions go hand in hand today so I felt I was justified in posting about it. I watch football just like you and just because I may post about something that is not a positive, this makes me out to be the bad guy? My twenty something nephew has CTE thanks to football so why is my concern for player safety such an evil thing? Maybe if you had a loved one, a young son or nephew who has brain damage maybe you would feel the same way? ESPN's massive lay off and the league's concussion plight puts the NFL in a bad light these days not even counting some players protesting the National Anthem. Personally in my opinion the NFL's future does not seem bright and many insiders feel the league could be non existent in twenty years.

The great Jim Brown talks about Concussions .......

Bears are trying soooooooo hard to be the Browns version 2.0. Meanwhile Cleveland finally has light at the end of its tunnel that might not be an oncoming train if they can get someone with a brain making decisions.

Cowboys had a solid first 3 rounds and if Ramsey comes back the defense just improved 10 fold.
