Latest AutoX video highlights

I competed in another Autocross for the BMWCCA. Managed a 2nd place victory below a c7 Z06. The square 305/30r20 set up in the Pilot Super Sports have really been disappointing. By next month I'm hoping to have some stickier rubber. Also I'm trying something new, fast forward to the end for a side by side comparison of my 2 fastest laps of the day.

What about your Square Pilot Super Sport set up disappoints you?

Great job man! That's a pretty long track for Auto X!

I haven't had the turn in bite in Autocross that I had anticipated. In fact, if you look at my numbers from the past 4 events; I was faster in the first 2 on the OEM Goodyears then I have been in the last 2 on the wider front PSS tires. In addition, the car still understeers quite a bit and with the wider front track, I was hoping to mitigate it.

Thank you! I competed in every AutoX available in Dallas and the BMWCCA guys love to create wide, fast courses. The Miata and s2000 based events are too tight and technical for a big car like the 1LE.

I appreciate that. After slowing it down and watching it a few times I was easily able to see how I can improve. I'm hoping to integrate the track itself once I get a PC with Cosworth.

The MPSS isn't an AutoX tire but I should mention on track... it's a very different story!

Has nothing to do with a square setup. Has everything to do with the fact that the Supercar 3's are a softer more grippy tire. I bet a 295/30R20 Bridgestone RE71 equipped 1LE would dominate the autocross.

+1
And a 305/30R19 Bridgestone RE71 equipped 1LE would do even moar betterer.
Which is what I am looking to do in the future. Dang lightweight wheels expensive.
