More of a topic for PM or phone email with them. People are coming to this thread for information on the splitter.

No disrespect:
They haven't answered any of my phone calls or email. This is the first time I've heard anything from them about my order since I placed it 3 weeks ago

If the RPI fits perfect probably the better options little things like that would bother me even if no one else knew or could tell.
Ya, i'm not too picky, it looks fine, just kinda mentioning it so if it has sticky tape in those areas, no use pulling the plastic off them, all the will do it catch dirt, sand or stones over time and then depending on the size rub into the paint in the openings.
Was just since i mentioned that one image of a camaro with the oem ss splitter but no details, figured i would mention what i saw once i stuck one on personally.

I'll see what i can do.

These pics are the Factory SS splitter on an RS, not aftermarket.
Here is the edge, both sides are the same, the tape caught at the one spot, just to the right of it the Fascia dips away from the splitter.

Here is the part of the one side off from the middle part where the SS splitter dips down, it has about little under a 1/4" space, so the tape is no where close to the Fascia. Basically where you see the tape in the first pic to the where the middle sticks out, is the gap area.

But like Dustya said, you have to get close to see the little things.

Thanks for the pics, wonder if the RPI does the same thing. "fits" but has these micro gaps. can we get close ups of the camaro the RPI was installed on. if no gaps im buying it right now.

So today I just installed the RPI design Splitter which was made for the SS but fits the RS. I had a lot of trouble fitting the splitter because of the fitment not being as flush as the SS. But I managed to make it fit after couple tries. What I did was I went and got longer screws that fit the body clip of the car. The current screws were not connecting because of the shape of the splitter was more for the SS. But with new longer screws and jamming the front splitter with facia I was able to hook it on. Here's the end result. I like it a lot but you can tell from some angles that it's little offset and there's a gap in there but not too noticeable.

The factory splitters came with replacement screws that were longer to take into account the extra thickness being added.
When trying to install the front by ones self, it can be a bit tricky cause its tricky to get it balanced while trying to install the screws.

If anyone else has a problem with the bolts being too short on the RS let us know and we will include longer bolts in our kit. So far this is the first we have heard about this problem.

I think it could have been what makes it feel short is that the plastic underside of the car with the clips kinda flexes and the thread clips move, makes it feel short till a few are installed and then they seem plenty, just like i mentioned earlier, doing it solo is kinda fun trying to balance the splitter while getting bolts started.

That makes sense. We noticed the same thing on many of the cars that we have installed splitters on. We put a few pieces of double sided tape on the splitters to hold them in place until they get bolted up. We have also used paper towel rolls to hold skirts and splitters up until we get them attached.
