One thing holding me back from turbo's right now is the amount of modification needed to make them fit. In general its never really bothered me to have to massage the firewall or cut some parts here or there to make things fit but my previous modified cars were all sub 15k vehicles and over 15 years old.

10 grand for just the kit from Armageddon...not even sure what an install and tune would run...id guess a solid 2-3k. 13 grand for twin turbos just sounds unreasonable right now. which sucks cause for me, theres nothing that sounds better than turbos spooling.

There is a shop in Houston called Powerfab, They were looking for a 6th gen to do a custom TT kit on at cost of parts only.. We were going to take them up on the offer but, went with the free blower from All Girls Garage and Edelbrock.. Talk to Jeremy Cozad it may still be available... Very very good shop..

Did you guys check with agp? They have built at least 10 kits and may have some ready to ship.

I have the AGP kit on my 2016 SS. I shipped it to AZ and they installed it in house. Car shipping is going to add some to the cost but you don't have to worry about a thing. I have about 7500 (hard) miles on the turbos and so far it is has been flawless. I'm very impressed with the performance and durability of the kit.

ADM/squash fuel system, Ron Davis radiator, Spal fans, AGP air to air, turbo plumbing. LPE oil cooler, rear bushing upgrade, roll bar...etc. rwhp 1400+... 212.5mph, best Texas mile to date. ![]() |

My car was the test mule to develop the system so it took quite a bit of shop time. He built the system on my car and then I took it home for 3 months and drove it then he took it back and made improvements to the exhaust design and the intake look and routing in the engine bay. He also made some tweeks to the tune related to my findings. All of this was done before he sold his first Gen 6 kit. I received special pricing in consideration. Give Kevin a call at AGP and he will give you a price.
