Did you have to remind them to use SS 1LE specs? I would be worried about a careless tech not using the right specs.

Pretty sure these are the SS 1LE specs:

Front camber: -1.00 deg
Front total toe: +0.20 deg
Rear camber: -1.00 deg
Rear total toe: +0.20 deg
I included the manufacturer 17 model SS 1LE street and track center spec alignment numbers in my post above in the same thread.

In the performance supplement, I thought it said the track alignment will decrease tire life - probably because of the increased camber. So it's up to you if you want to change it back. The track alignment is probably safe, just wears tires quicker.

Yea that's my big concern with it, don't want to kill my tire life. Though as of now my stock tires only have about 100miles on them since I took them off after like 3 days haha

NASA AZ are a great group of guys... I miss running with them... Have you done HPDE with them before?

I moved to Phoenix 4 years ago and got to know a lot of the guys who run NASA and Pro Autosports. Virtually all of my friends are involved with track events in one way or another, so it's nice to finally have a car I can run instead of always being part of their pit crew I used to have an RS4 and took that to a few events, was a lot of fun. I'm hoping they let me skip up to DE 2 or 3 fairly quickly and let me take some buddies for a ride so they can critique me some. Should be fun!

Side note - a couple of my friends have track-prepped S197 Mustangs, so I was curious how they were going to react when I told them I got my 1LE. To my surprise, they were actually pretty excited and happy for me, haha. One of them has a new '17 GT350, and they want to see me and him on track together

Just had mine checked for the hell of it and my toe was off street spec by double (positive) on both front wheels. About 4k miles on the clock now, so they did a full alignment free of charge!

Just had my track alignment done as well (non-1LE) and the toe from the factory was WAY off. Definitely check yours!
Left front: -1/16
Right front: 9/32 (that's 3x out of spec)
Total front: 7/32

Left rear: 1/32
Right rear: 5/32
Total rear: 5/32

WTF Chevy! That front toe is crazy off and the rear is only slightly better.
I had the shop set front and rear to zero toe

BMR has said this multiple times as well.
What is the torque spec for the bolts? Is there a way to tell if they have been "stretched"?
