Yes. Pretty sure it's a byproduct of the 2 piece rotors. There has been some discussion that ATS-V (identical brakes) owners complained of the same noise

Ticking or Chirping. I have heard it called both. The fix is to thoroughly clean the mating surface that the wheel is held to by the lug nuts. It is common on the Corvette and Cadillac and apparently on the Camaro.

Here you go.
#PI1498B: Clicking Noise from Front and/or Rear Wheels - (Aug 23, 2016) Subject: Clicking Noise from Front and/or Rear Wheels Models: 2014-2017 Chevrolet Corvette 2016-2017 Chevrolet Camaro Attention: This PI also applies to any of the above models that may be Export from North America vehicles. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This PI has been revised to add the Camaro model and the 2017 Model Year. Please discard PI1498A. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Condition/Concern Some customers may comment on a clicking noise emanating from either the front or rear wheels location. This condition may be more predominate at low speeds (10-20 mph or 16-32 km/h) during full wheel lock turns on dry clean pavement. The clicking noise is generally noted as approximately 1 to 4 clicks per wheel revolution. This may be caused by interaction between the wheel mounting face and the wheel mounting surface on the brake rotor. Recommendation/Instructions Important: Do NOT replace the wheels or brake rotors for this condition. If you encounter a vehicle with the above concern, follow the procedure below. 1. Remove all four of the wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in SI. 2. Clean all four of the wheels mounting surface as follows. ◦Using a clean cloth dampened with approved brake cleaner (ex. Part number 19287401 (U.S.), 88901247 (Canada)), wipe the mounting surface of the wheel(s) removing any residual grey or black material that has accumulated on the wheel mounting surface. Note: All cleaning must be done by hand. Do NOT use pneumatic or power tools. 3. Clean the wheel mounting surface of the brake rotors, or sometimes referred to as the brake rotor top hats, as follows. ◦Using a clean cloth dampened with approved brake cleaner (ex. Part number 19287401 (U.S.), 88901247 (Canada)) wipe the wheels mounting surface of the rotor (brake rotor top hat) removing any residual grey or black material that has accumulated on the rotors. Note: During the cleaning process, be sure to clean the rotor near the wheel pilot at the center of the rotor. Note: All cleaning must be done by hand. Do NOT use pneumatic or power tools. 4. Reinstall all four of the wheels using the original wheel nuts and torque specifications. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in SI. •Corvette 140 Y (103 lb ft) •Camaro 190 Y (140 lb ft) Important: Be sure wheels and rotors are thoroughly dry prior to installation.

I had the same tick, showed up after trying to remain stationary while smoking the tires. Found out the brakes on the 1LE can easily over power the LT1... anyway, drove me nuts hearing the ticking while turning.
I read the SB posted above and honestly cleaning the mating surface doesn't make sense to me but lose of torque does. So I checked the tightness on the lug nuts of all four rims and found the both front rims were about 1/3 turn loose on all lug nuts (no movement on the back rims). Went for a drive and the clicking was gone! 1500 miles later and I'm still good... Really weird noise when it first started, it was almost like something on the tire dragging across something in the wheel well on each revolution... |

I had the same issue and took it to the dealer recently for the TSB fix it is definitely better! I think I may have heard it again faintly the other day, but I will know for sure after my auto X this weekend if its back.
You can hear the clicking in my PDR video of my last Auto X especially from 0:46 - 0:52

I started with torquing the wheels. They seemed to be torqued closer to 100 than the required 140. That didn't seem to do much to help the clicking. Drove for several months with the clicking. Last month had the dealer perform the TSB to clean wheel mating surfaces and it seems to be 90-100% fixed. I'll be able to confirm if the sound returns this weekend.

Ran my first autocross since this problem was fixed. I think its still faintly noticeable, but there is definitely a huge improvement from stock. I recommend anyone who is aggravated by the noise clean the mating surfaces like mentioned in the TSB. It will improve the issue.

So I did't clean the mating surfaces, but replaced the lug nuts with the Gorilla locking ones and torqued them to 125 ft/lbs. What I did notice when removing the stock lug nuts was that some came loose without much effort while there were a few that were nice and tight. I took the car out for a spirited run this weekend and did not hear the noise, I re-torqued everything for good measure when I got home.

The noise definitely seems to be back after my last run through the mountains. Anyone else notice the noise returning after getting the TSB performed by the dealer? Maybe I need to clean them better myself.
