Last month I went ahead and upgraded to a 2017 Hyper Blue 2SS A8. I previously had a 2011 2SS A6 which my dad has now. I gave him the car with 17500 miles on it. I did not drive it often. I absolutely fell in love with the Hyper Blue when I first seen the car. I had been viewing several Blue Camaros in the area for several months before I decided to buy. I kept a log of every car in the area on the inkpad app on my phone which included the dealer, price, and vin number. Little did I know, this log ended up helping me out more than I could ever had thought of. I had a $ figure of $45,000.00 that I was willing to spend for this car. I thought it would of been impossible to get such a deal on this car fully loaded. My car is NPP exhaust, A8, MRC, sunroof, black wheels. Car was stickered at $49,000. I stopped in at the dealer one evening and decided to take a look at the 1st car on my list which was my top choice but I thought no way I would get a deal. Finally, a salesman approaches and I tell him "I WILL buy a Camaro very, very soon and you have one chance to make a deal. I will only pay the national average for this car and all incentives will kick in at that point". He is totally shocked and says "I am blowing his mind away". Im searching on my phone and he sees my Camaro Logo screensaver. So now he know I am serious. Then I just randomly show him my log of all the cars I had listed including theirs and other rival dealers in the area. Now get this, as I am doing this we are sitting in the car about to go for a test drive and he says "can we go back inside for a minute". When we get inside he wants to show my Camaro Log to his finance guy and I hesitated but gave the phone to him since I know where this was headed. The guy sees all the info I have and says "we have got to give this guy a killer deal because he has done all of his homework". So after about 30 minutes the salesman comes out with his offer sheet and has knocked $8000 off the price of the car. I was shocked. I walked out paying $43000.00 for a fully loaded 2SS. $2000 less than what I wanted to pay and about the same vs the national average for the car. Moral of the story is do your homework when dealing with theses guys. Don't just tell them you are shopping around. Let them physically see it whether it be on a notepad app on your phone or actual papers in hand. I absolutely love this car.

Pros:
1. Hyper Blue Metallic is gorgeous!!!
2. Performance Exhaust is absolutely brutal!!
3. I love the touch screen and the MyLink
4. Power sunroof is lovely. Never had a sunroof before
5. I like the wireless charging pad although the phone must be out of its case to work.
6. The ambient lighting is awesome. My last car only had 1 color and only came on at night.
7. Love the CAMARO door silly and the fact they light up.
8. And the power of the LT1 is amazing. This car is totally different than my Gen 5. I love the WOT shifts. The car screams every time that you shift.
9. Gas mileage is decent. My best was 30.5 gal on my first road trip.
10. And I love the compliments and looks.
11. Trunk space is adequate
12. Backup camera is awesome. I am still getting used to it.

Cons:
1. Don't like the fact the car reverts back to tour mode on start up. I know sport mode will revert back to sport though.
2. Console storage is extremely small.
3. Floor mats are cheap. They could of done something better.

Now it is time to enjoy this amazing car.

Good going!! I bought a nearly identical car in early 2016 with the exception of my silver stripes, and paid $48k! Totally paid the price for being early in, but haven't regretted a single day with it! I've got about 5,000 miles on it now (stored all winter). I love it, my wife loves it, and I've found it much more fun to own than the 2012 Grand Sport Vette I traded for it!

Nice car. As long as you enjoy what you got then the price doesn't make a difference. Me buying a year later is a big difference in price factor. Plus the car I bought had been sitting on their lot for about 6 months. They were eager to get rid of that inventory. Enjoy your ride!!

I am going to order a black wing from ACS and a black front splitter. I highly doubt I will do any engine modifications!
