To get the ventilated seats to work, it appears that perhaps we'd only need 3 of the 10 pass./11 drvr. side circuits/wires (i.e. the 3 listed with RPO "KQV VENTILATED SEATS" [RPO "KA1" HEATED SEATS MORE COMPLICATED]).

Looks like the most complicated vent circuit will be the circuit for "Seat Vent Control"... (the green with violet striped wire in pin position 25)...one would think that this has to be more complicated than a simple on/off switch to ground, because of the dual speed feature, even with the aforementioned in-seat module running the fan. The other 2 vent circuits appear to be just switched 12V supplies. Strange they want 2...

Do we think this pin position 25 is the PCM speed signal or something else? Strange that it only says "Driver's seat" tho...

To the poster previously who said "don't bother for the vented feature", it looked like he had a 2SS with the "GM" seats. Wonder if they are any better/different on the Recaros? Seems like we've ascertained it's a single fan on the Recaros vs dual (smaller) fan on the GM std seat in the 2SS.

If anyone with a 2LT or ZL1 that has the vented Recaro functionality could chime in if they cool worth a damn, that would be appreciated!

All the volt/amp/timing/safety/pwm/ntc is handled by the seat mod under pass seat. It's pre wired into the seat harness. The other question is if the driver to pass harness is present.
The only connection I see to the BCM that isn't there is internet bus2. It's there only for heat/vents seats and auto trans gear indicator. Circuit 6133.
I believe everything is routed to the passenger side, through the the mod then sent to the drivers side along with some of its own connections. Nowhere on the drivers side does it mention the passengers side.
I have a plan to test, actually two. Will be next week end. I can't any info on the actual switched on the AC panel as on how they communicate. There is no internet on the AC (a26) controls.

Do you think it may be for auto trans only? Wonder if it is part of the logic where seat cannot move memory while car is in anything besides park????

Trying to recall what the interlocks on moving memory seat are in a manual...(my Z06)...seems like you can move the seat anytime with the memory buttons on the manual, but not recalling for sure. Someone with a 2SS manual with memory seats would have to advise/confirm if the memory can be changed while the car is in gear and parking brake released.

GM seat memory features works while in gear on auto cars, just not on a single button push now. I had a 2014 GMC Sierra and it was a single button push, now I have a 2016 GMC Sierra and you have to hold the memory button down until the position is reached.

According to the BCM circuit diagram bus2, pin 9 on connector 6, is only used for heated seats and auto trans indicator.
Memory seats use bus8 or 11.
This is from a 1ss. Missing bus2 wire. To the left of GN/YLW wire.

Mild setback. GM canceled my dual climate controls, stating unavailable.
The website now says the same. Was only $225 when I ordered.
If anyone finds a used one, let me now. I have everything else figured oit, but need the controls to confirm the BCM will still send the single signal needed.

Surely someone has the 2SS controls to loan so we can get this sorted out! I'm on pins and needles waiting to get this operational in my car.

They are back on the GM web site, so ordered....again. they have canceled twice. A member here sent me a link, but said unavailable when I looked.
I have already got the heat to work by "rigging" through the control module and an Accura switch. The pm to the fans I could do via a control box, but I'm dead set on factory appearance and operation (enlisted help from a friend, who is way more knowledgeable than I am about this). So, the short is yes and no. Time, I don't have right now, boxes of stuff waiting for me to install.

Awesome! Totally understand being short on time. Will you make a how to thread once you have it sorted out? I might opt for a seat mounted switch solution to avoid buying a whole new control panel if the seat heat/vent buttons can't be simply added to our stock setup.
