Thanks for checking, can't say I wasn't shocked to see that but I guess that's the way they paint them, which makes me feel better.

New Club F1FTY member from Germany :-)

Hey there guys, wishing you a happy Easter to start my introduction to this forum

My name is Alex, 27 years old and I am from Germany (Ludwigshafen).
Read a lot in this forum the last two weeks, followed different threads, especially this one, because I will be a 50th anniversary Camaro SS owner soon - ordered my Camaro about three weeks ago getting her delivered in June. Maybe I am lucky and she will be delivered in May if shipping to Bremerhaven gets as fast as it was done for some other cars my dealer already got delivered...

To be honest, I did not read every single post in this thread, but most of them through over 250 sites and what I have to say: You are great! There is so much information you get here with a lot of photos, which are really nice to see!
This is my first time to an American car forum and I don't know if you could imagine, but for me as a German this is like information overdose regarding a car like the Camaro or any other new American car model, which also is built for export to Europe. In Germany we know German cars, maybe some other exotic cars or some cars from Britain, France and Japanese cars, although we have a lot of American cars driving around in Germany, there are only a few dealerships to contact and some small forums or other webbased documentation you could get your information or ideas about one specific car. Nevertheless, I am glad, that I found this one and I am also looking forward to have some nice conversation with you here!

I dreamed of buying a Camaro since 5th Gen. was released, but this 6th Gen. Camaro is the best you can get - even if I compare it to other manufacturers from Germany like BMW or Audi. Yes, it is a packet of money - no discussion about that, but if I want power and features like the Camaro has by another brand, I will have to spend even more money and I probably do not have a Chevy small block with 6.2l under my hood

So, I went for this decision and I am really excited now to get her home!
My dealer told me, that there only were 500 exemplars of 50th anniversary Camaros built for exporting to Europe and I am very proud of owning 1/500 in a few weeks!

What I just noticed is, that they will not be exported with the "splitter" / "spoiler" to Europe and with the standard SS grille, what sucks a little, because this is a significant difference between a Camaro SS and a 50th anniversary edition except of the painting, the interior and the wheels. Further, we do not get the daytime running LED lights in the grille, but I want them and I need to check, if my dealer could get them imported as GM spare part. But this is all future!

Now I have to wait and do have some time to check few other threads in this forum as well

Have a nice day and a lot of fun with your nice F1FTY's !

Welcome to the Club Alex! You will love your 50th when you get it. The lower grille and splitter can be added very easily to yours once you get it. As for the led running lights in the grille not sure. I was unaware that the number exported to Germany/Europe was that low. Impressive.

Glad you could join us and are always welcome. We do share lots of things and help each other out. It's what this is all about, sharing the fun and excitement that is Camaro!

Again congrats and welcome!
