You can corroborate it yourself. Look at pg. 21 of your Limited Warranty booklet. Emissions equipment are completely separate from bumper to bumper and powertrain warranties. Note some components like the PCM have coverage under both emissions and powertrain since it has 2 functions. Cats are single function emissions equipment.
