im very low tech..how do i download the video from my SD card to my computer ?

You would need an SD card reader that plugs into a USB port on your computer. Once that's accomplished, it should show up in your Windows File Explorer as a drive then you can manage the files how you want from there.

I can watch the videos while the SD card is in the computer but it wont let me transfer them to the computer. Will the sd reader do that ?

here are a couple of my videos from NJMP Lightning track...im very low tech with all of these tech buttons on cars...i had full traction control on and didnt realize it. it just seemed like the car was underpowered to me. i guess it was fast considering i was only using about 75% of its capability.

Yes, you need to access PTM. Read the performance supplement included with your owners manual. The stability control cuts timing quite a bit outside PTM, so yes... most of the time you were trying to accelerate with yaw in the car, it wasn't giving you full power.

Thank you. A friend of mine told me about all of those buttons at the end of the day.
All things considered i was still able to overtake most of the cars on the track. Im very impressed with this car so far.

Here's my best session from today at Gingerman Raceway. Skip to 11:00 for the good laps. 1:41.04 was my best, which is damn impressive for showroom stock on street tires.

How did you like the pads? It didn't seem like a track that could be very harsh on the pads ( some of straights to cool them down) What kind of camber you were running?

In the 13 years I've been tracking at Gingerman I've never heard anyone say it's easy on brakes. The pads are perfectly fine, the tires don't have enough grip for the pads and the ABS calibration is frankly rather poor. If you apply the brake too quickly the ABS goes into a kind of "coast down mode" and braking distance goes frustratingly long. You have to lift and reapply to get out of the "coast down mode".

The car rotates best by rolling back on the throttle early. It refuses to lift oversteer unless the rear tires are cold. Speaking of tires, the staggered setup seems stupid. The fronts heat up quicker than the rears, and then once the rears come in you only have a couple laps before the fronts get greasy. The entire session is dominated by tire temp management rather than complimenting the suspension.

Overall the car is easy to acclimate to and its behavior is benevolent.

I didn't say "easy" I said "didn't seem too harsh on brakes " at least compared to our local tracks where there are al lot of elevation changes and multiple tight corners followed after long straights.

For the reference, I didn't run into that ABS issue even when I matched the Oem tires with ST43S but I also didn't get a chance to use them for an extended session either. Thanks for sharing

I posted this in the tire thread that got moved, so for 1LE owners who don't venture out of this section here it is below:

I took the car out this weekend in show room condition (minus different brake fluid and alignment) just to see where it was at. This car is so incredible in factory form and the tires surpassed my expectations for a street tire. They will be good to go for 95% of owners.


Below is some data from this weekend at Thunderhill West, a relatively short 2 mile course in Northern California. Ambient temps were around 60-70*.

Alignment:
F: -2.4* Camber, 1/16th toe out
R: -1.6* camber, 1/16th toe in

TEMPS after 3rd session:

LF: 156/158/160 RF: 160/161/167
LR: 159/162/162 RR: 158/165/173

Pressures after 3rd session:
LF: 37 RF: 39
LR: 37 RR:38

So you can see that this track is much harder on the right side tires. Towards the end of the day the tires got a little greasy, mid corner and corner exit push increased a lot. You can see by the temps that the car could actually use a bit more camber (you want the middle of the tire to be the hottest), at least at this specific track. Tire pressures were also increasing throughout the day, despite starting at 28 cold. It appears that the tires work better in the 36 range, but don't quote me on that.

I haven't checked tire wear with a gauge, but I noticed the outside of the tire seemed worked, which would make sense looking at the tire temps. I may see if I can get a bit more camber, and also play with temps a bit. Overall really impressed with the car and tires, they will support most owners.

I would highly suggest everyone check their alignment, even if they plan on leaving the factory street specs. My car along with other owners on here have had a factory alignment that was a bit off. I had mix matched camber and toe.
