People drive high performance vehicles and most can act and drive them in a manner that doesn't endanger themselves or anyone else. I have people wanting to race me on the street just about everytime I go driving but my action is let them go. This person was a complete idiot that shouldn't have had a Camaro because he didn't respect the hp that it has and didn't have the sense to control himself either. IMO there isn't a lesson for us responsible Camaro drivers out there to be learned!

i understand perfectly the point the OP was trying to make. No preachy stuff here but I'm really saddened by the large number of callous attempts at humor were made over something very serious.

it's true you have to be careful with these cars. the limits are higher, but you can't reach those limits on the street, even on an empty road, roads aren't perfect and we aren't race car drivers. that's why thing's like the 1LE don't even interest me. the SS and the LT have more road holding than anyone can use. But like i said, i see crazy stuff all the time, people weaving in and out of traffic in non sports cars, and even trucks. So it's not just sports cars.

No. It's bad. Many people don't have empathy any more. Go ahead and minimize the grief the families of the two innocent people who died at the hand of an asshat. You're perspective is quite self serving.
