No lie, that picture was taken with 7 miles on the odometer (on the way home from the dealership).

Just a tip, something I've been doing for about 25 years: Don't rub a rag on the tires and then on a painted wheel.
Grab some dedicated tire brushes and some dedicated wheel brushes and or wheel woolies. I use a cheap, stiff brush for the tires, like this: http://a.co/9Ar6A1X I use various boars hair brushes for the wheels: http://a.co/5uErX2F http://a.co/j7ox79w http://a.co/0Kayg37 Also, another thing I've been doing since 1988: Dry your wheels and car with a high speed electric leaf blower. I use a 250+ MPH Toro and a metrovac sidekick. If your car is waxed/sealed or has ceramic coating the water flys right off. Lastly, if you do ceramic coating, remember you can do your wheels and calipers too. I've done my last 2 C7's and 2 other cars and the wheel barrels and brembo calipers are very simple to clean (most of the time they get 95% clean just with the pressure washer) and reduces the brushing effort.

The easiest way I found to protect my wheels is in my signature. See the link. As for the tires, every tire dressing I've ever used lasts a month. VRT Is good, but conventional. I don't want to do it every month. The new product below Si02 coats the tire. Now I get 3 to 4 months.
