If you're really set on leasing a car, you could look into a hellcat. I know it's not a ZL1 but it's somewhat similar. Several members on the Hellcat forum report getting their leases for around $500 a month. Dodge built a ton of those cars so it's easy to find good deals now. Just an idea.

Benefits of a lease:
1. If you own your own business you can write off your lease payments 2. End of term you simply hand car back plus and excess mileage charges and needed fixes. 3. You only pay tax on the amount of the car you buy (so if your residual is 55% - then you only pay tax on the 45% you bought). Overall if you can write off and don't drive a lot of excess miles a lease will be the best way to buy things, protects your downside and sets a future option price you can buy at, if more than market you can trade that equity into your next car (which is rare but it does happen). 55% residual is pretty good - 3.14% finance rate is ok for great credit is ok, but not great, but good enough if the other areas work for you. |

Quoting Lease specials just pisses people off. That is why I do not quote them. It is + taxes and fees. Including paying taxes on the rebates. Taxes alone are one hundred dollars a month.
50% of the car over #36 months + taxes & fees minus discounts & incentives.

What were your options?
My MSRP on convertible was $70,530 with hood, Gas guzzler, and 8"screen. Yours must be an automatic with higher gas guzzler?

On the subject of using a lease as a tax right off, wouldn't that be contingent upon several other factors? Such as the weight of the vehicle and if it used solely for work purposes? I'm not 100% sure but thats probably why it is more simplistic to obtain an F-150 and use that as a tax right off (contractors etc.) |

Especially on a 17MY, one might be able to achieve that low of a payment on a 16MY though. |

Update: The hunt continues for a competitive lease deal what I can inform you of is that, for anyone that interested in using a car broker. Be very cautious when dealing with a company called DSR Leasing.

Sorry for the derail...

I don't think it would be too much work to get a 17 Hellcat for $550/month with $0 down. Personally, I won't consider any monthly lease payment that is more than 1% of the vehicles MSRP, but for them to be at $630/month on a $72,000 car without even negotiating… wow. I’m also completely against putting any money down on a lease. It’s gone if you total the vehicle and instead of letting it earn you money via some investment, it’s artificially making you feel better about your monthly payment. |
