Too, too many posts here about paint that I have looked beyond even attempting to rectify.
Why?
Too many let downs by the others that have posted about it.
Too, too much aggravation to lose any sleep over dealing w/GM to correct.
I see beyond it all to accept that I purchased a kick ass car with just a few "spots" that, are not that noticeable to the naked eye when viewing, to lose a never ending battle over.
My 2 cents worth...but, I feel your pain.
Cigarfan- I agree with you that one should not lose any sleep over this, and it truly is an aggravation. But thats exactly what GM wants those of us with these issues to do. Give up and live with it. I don't think so. I paid to much money to settle for second best. Especially at cars and coffee, when I'm parked next to a pristine Mustang. My wifes Mazda cost 10 grand less than my kick ass Camaro, and I can't find one damn thing wrong with it. Our cars are better than that. No one should ever have to settle for second best.

I agree with 100%.
I'm sure you will let them know that you will not accept your issue lying down.
I really hope you and everyone else with issues like yours and mine don't go fixed.
I just wish, I...did a better job of inspecting my car in all forms of light to point the issues that I know now, then, when I signed on the dotted line and drove away.

Car has been painted. Car is still at dealership as it still needs to be re-assembled. Hope it was worth the long wait. Photos to come soon.

** update No.2**

Was asked to come into the dealership last night and check out the car in the bay as it was raining out. I did the most thorough inspection I could possibly do, and yes there are imperfections. Mostly what body shops call (nibs) in the paint. Fancy for trapped dirt or dust in the paint that look like bumps. I made sure to mark all areas I noticed with small pieces of tape as everyone there had gone home for the day. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and expect them to make the appropriate corrections. But I must add this entire ordeal has left me feeling completely disheartened. Trying to be positive when everything is in someone else's control is a tough thing to deal with. Believe me. I just want to take my baby home. But only when all is to my satisfaction. Car is currently still in the same spot in the bay with tape all over it. Body shop manager was out today. Hopefully He will be in tomorrow and get the ball rolling again. I'm Lol to keep myself from crying.

**update #3**

Dropped car off this morning at dealership to get these paint defects in the new paint taken care of. Yes, I said the new paint job. Man I hope this is it, cause I'm fed up already. Don't know how much more abuse I can take. This round may determine whether or not I buy another GM product in the future.
