So this just happened.

Evidently Ford makes a magic "pin stripe". Saw this today at dealer in the area. Meanwhile there is a Chevy dealer down the road that is selling the ZL1 at sticker. A faster, better handling, better equipped car for actual MSRP. Imagine that.

I hope to never see a Ford sticker again

the second one has a Harry Potter snake waiting to eat a tiny pony with strange legs and tail

that too bad I wish the Camaro sticker had Darth Vadar and a jawa

I know the RS is not selling around here. The dealers acted like they had a pot of gold & they are just sitting around for many months with the crazy ADM's. I love when a Ford dealer acts like they are giving you a HUGE break when they have only a few thousand for an ADM. They are really nice that way. I hope the dealers choke on them!

This crap is the exact reason why I don't have a GT350. I tried many times to buy one at sticker (offered real cash each time), no dice. Then I found the 1LE and frankly IT IS A BETTER CAR!!!

Funny, I got a call from one of the criminal Ford dealers begging me to buy the same car I offered to buy 3 months ago at sticker, FOR STICKER.

I told him they waited too long and Chevy made a better car that cost me $40K.

Criminals. Ford needs to get a hold of these dealers as it is pissing a lot of people off and they are losing loyalty.

$110 000 for a MUSTANG!!! Laughable. Enjoy that when you go to deal it in 3 years. You'd be able to buy a 2SS free and clear with just the money that Mustang will depreciate in those three years, maybe a nice motorcycle too.

insane. I actually considered the RS. I'm a former '16 WRX owner so it was interesting to me. I searched all the dealers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and a couple were discounted about 1k. Most were at sticker and a handful were 4k above. I decided 42k was just too much for a hot hatchback. Plus insurance on the RS is more than my 2SS. Also I didnt want another manual transmission. Too much traffic around here.
I've seen ZL1's locally going for 2k under sticker but most are full MSRP and these is a 1LE selling for $2800 off.

Local dealer here had a '15 GT 350, no track pack, at $8,000 ADM when the 17's were ready to come out! An RS for $10,000 over! All I could think was go f*** yourselves. I hate Ford dealers for that crap.

Well... I agree with you on most of that. I'm not discounting the 350R.. it's a solid car that performs well. It laps better times than the 5th gen Z28 and 6th gen 1LE but around the Nurbergring (sp) the ZL1 has it beat. I've had both a S550 Mustang and traded it for my 2SS. Quite honestly the Camaro was just an overall better car but it came at a price to get it. I'm happy with it but I'm also anxious to see what Ford plans to bring to the table with the 2018 refresh and the GT500. Lots of good things coming from all three auto makers.

My biggest issue is Ford trying to charge premium markup for something that will sit and collect dust. This exact same dealer did this same markup when the 50 year mustangs came out and they sat for almost 2 years collecting dust.

Truth is, nobody wants to pay 70k for a pony car or 110k for a pony car with a track package. Even though these cars corner well if I wanted a car that was made cornering I'd buy a GT-R.

The Focus RS is an amazing hatch. The dealer near me was asking 10k over sticker but I recently ran into a guy who paid sticker for one in Dallas.

Yeah I like it.. I'm an old DSM guy. I've had an AWD Talon and an 07 EVO. The EVO was stock but the Talon was modified pretty well and ran mid-high 12's all day long.
