Back on topic....
Haha same here!

Brian is the man. Great guy to deal with. For my first HPDE weekend, he emailed me video of him going through the track to help me prepare.

Back on topic, I will be calling RRT tomorrow for a status update on the spring rate testing. I'm not expecting anything new (they were very upfront about their workload), but maybe some attention can help speed things along.

Thanks, appreciate it.

NP!

Called RRT...they'll get to testing the spring rates early next week.

Will post the rates then and I'll also update my spring rate thread.

I may have missed it but if you order this kit with the car is it a factory installed option or does the dealership install it?

I only ask for the autoXing factor. Would not be legal for FS if it is a dealer installed option.

This is not a factory option. You need an actual 1LE if you are going for an event with those kind of restrictions. This is just a GM Performance parts kit to retrofit some of the 1LE parts to a Camaro SS.

Update: spring rates have been tested but since I'm on a business trip I can't get the results as soon as I'd like. Mike at RRT will email me the charts. Once that's done I'll post it all up. He did say that the rates are very consistent (linear) and the one spring measured around 180. That's the front spring for sure and would be a 43 ft lbs increase over factory SS and 20 over Eibach. More to come!

188/539 front and rear

Will post plots next. These are the rates the spring is at for most of its compression.

Go to your local dealership's website and look the part up under accessories. They will almost all list a price for the part and installation.
I ended up choosing a different dealership because the guy I was trying to work with was an A**. So I took my money to the dealership I bought the car from in the first place.

When do you plan to do the install? I would love to get some ride height measurements before and after.

They said it would take at least 7 days to get the parts. I have somewhere around 5 more business days before the parts arrive and then I still need schedule the install.

So I should be able to get before and after wheel gap measurements. Understand it will be at least another week before I could post new wheel gaps.

Great thanks!
Also, installation is cheaper than I was expecting! I found one in Phoenix here that's around $366. I was expecting it to be around $1k for installation.

As long as the "installed" price is correct anyway on their websites. It would suck to buy it only for the dealer to tell you that the price is incorrect.
