I am having my OEM one's professionally chromed. Pic below. It's all a personal choice. My FAVORITE black rims are the ZL1 replica wheels, also pictured below.
Again, that's just my preference. There are some REALLY nice wheels out there!!

Stock SS 1LE wheels are my all time favorite on any car I've owned (even against the 505a's I had on the Z06)...
