Cheap - Best - ideas.....wheels and tirs.

Howdy,
Looking for aftermarket black 20" wheels - tires in Canada for my 2017 2.0 Turbo LT1.
OEM are 18's will 20's just fit or will I have to do other stuff first?
Everything on line is so expensive.........shipping from the States likewise !!
Anybody got any for sale..........??
TIA
John

RS wheels on mine are 245/40/20. So yes 20's will fit fine. Not sure how wide you can go.

now that is a deal!

I hope you don't mean they were sold by a dealer! I've seen too many cases where the car on the lot has LPO rims, yet they didn't include the stock rims (meaning the dealer goofed, or sold them separate). Those rims should be in the owners hands.

Those would have been my choice for wheels (I'm in pretty much the same boat as the OP). Those wheels being an extra 2000$ option, so having someone want to sell them means they found the car they wanted on the lot, and their MSRP and sale price would have been reflected in that but then didn't want those rims (preferred stock, or sold both stock and these)

Either that, or they ordered it then changed their mind, and sold at a huge loss.

In my case, I do have 20s from the RS package. I might just plastidip.

If I were in your shoes, I'd order the LPO rims + tires from the dealer, and use the 18s as winter rims. It's pricy... which is why the RS package was a non negotiable for me.

I've never heard of RS or NPO upgraders getting the 18"'s as well. Is that what happened to you? I assumed the $900 extra I paid for the 20" black five spoke I ordered were an added cost, not the outright cost.

The black split spoke, or the black five spoke with red stripe are the LOP items I am talking about - the 2000$ upgrades. The black 5 spoke are 110$ upgrades and you won't get 2 sets of rims when upgrading those.

If you get the RS, or SS models, and have split spoke in black, or 5 spoke black with red stripe, it means the MSRP was 2000$ higher, and they are extra sets of rimes you should be entitled too. Hope that clarifies.

If you get 20 inch upgrade but don't go up to RS, then yes, I think the upgrade is 900. If you wanted the 2 above mentioned wheels though, they would have been a 2000 upgrade, and in that case, you would have 2 sets.

I was shocked when I called. Jumped in truck and headed out. He also ordered me the optional SS centre caps which he's sending to me purolator at no charge. Brand new in box.
