What aftermarket brake options are available?

I have a 2016 2SS with 4 piston calipers front and rear.

I think I warped my rotors tracking my car - and rather than simply replacing the rotors and doing it again - I'm looking at going a little bigger.

What are my options? I know brembo 6 pistons are available from the dealer. They are very expensive.

Are any other good options available?

Thanks!

Willwood just released their brake set up not too long ago. Looking at $2,200 roughly for the front brakes

I think that's for the four piston. 6 piston looks like $3k.

Rotors don't just get warped, that's a myth. They might crack, break or get pad deposits on them. Which pads did you use? Did you bed them? Why upgrade to aftermarket kit? You might be able to enjoy the 4 Pistons with the right setup.

I have the Rotora circuit brakers. 8 piston front 4 piston rear and 16" rotors. Absolutely incredible brakes for the track. I have their track spec ones on the fifth gen and the street ones on the sixth gen. When I ran the sixth on the track, I was out braking the z06's that were out there.

Looking at Rotora's website, I see the have a 12 piston setup. Why didn't you get those? I mean, if 6 pistons is better than 4, and 8 is better than 6, then 12 must be the shiznit!!! You could probably out-brake an F1 car with those...

I'm waiting for 16 pistons, but with my luck, someone will come out with 24 pistons right after I buy the ones with 16.

No its not. It's around 2000$ for the front 6 pistons. Roughly the same price I paid for the same 2 piece rotors kit that I ran on my 5th gen.

Some places still sell brakes reasonably priced and not all marked up due to their name

They also have a 18 inch wheel kit as well as as 19 inch minimum kit. The larger of the two comes with as 15 inch rotor while the 18 comes with the 14 inch rotor.

urr2slo - Can you give me a ball park figure regarding how much your 2016 Camaro brakes cost you? Or PM me. I looked all over the Rotora website for prices but fund none. I tried the catalog link but it just says coming soon.

Depending on which brakes you bought I may need to give them a call anyway. Thanks for turning us on to them!

The CTS-V uses the same setup as the ZL1

ATS-V uses the 1LE

yup... did that as well, with the ZL1 calipers on the 5th gen. they were remanufactured, and were raw... all of em didn't come painted. but worked.
