Time for someone to manufacture a sto and sho front and rear guard that we can fix when the car is parked so the only damage that occurs is to the Ahole's car who does not care for other peoples property.

I had a front fender on my G8 repaired at a body shop. Their was no difference in quality from the rest of the car when it was done. I think it all depends on the painter as suggested. In my case I'm getting the SS done at the dealer who then warranties the work and finish so that cuts down the risk.

Dang, that sucks. Sorry to hear about that.
I had that happen to me in my old car. Big truck with a hitch backed into my car and drove off. It's the most frustrating thing in the world.
sorry again and I'll drink a beer for you

People are horrible. Not that long ago, I came out (after parking far away), and there was a coffee mug ring on the hood of my car where someone put their coffee mug while they got in/out of their car.

And it's not like I was driving a beater or something (not that that would be okay either), but it was a Camaro, and it was washed and waxed etc... You could tell that my car was owned/driven by someone who cares a great deal about his/her car. Plus, it was parked far away.

People suck...

+1, a solid touchup will make it un-noticeable from 2 feet away.

Unfortunately, when washing/clay barring, its going to be noticeable, and that wouldn't be good enough for me

We have a lot of good guys around here for sure. At least a couple of folks I know do show quality custom paint jobs as their passion but keep the food on the table with insurance work.

I had washed my car the day before and had planned on polishing and sealing it but the weather was crappy so only did a spray detailer,im sure if i had spent the couple of hours doing a full polish and seal id be 10x as pissed. I work in a retail space so cars come and go so no chance of tracking down the dbag. As protective as we are of our cars we will soon have to be driving something like this

Sorry to see stuff like this happen. I had a girl back out of a parking place into the right rear fender and part of the diffuser when it was just three weeks old. She gave me her insurance card but I later found out it had expired for non payment after the first month. Just got it for registration renewal. So of course I had to pay the $250 deductible and now the insurance company can't find her to try to collect. Some people do suck.

Here are some make you feel better tips:
Measure the height and walk through your parking lot at work. Look for red paint. Perhaps it was one of your co-workers.
Look around for a surveillance camera that may have caught it.
Maybe you'll get lucky.
