I thought they mentioned you could drive it in street height and then change it when you get to the track then change it back. The DSSV have height-dependent behavior so it could have different softer properties in the street height compared to the track height setting. That was the gist of their use in the ZR2 where they could have different behavior dependent on set height...

Any DSSV experts here?

That is true, the front struts are height adjustable. But there is no change in damping when you adjust the height. It's more for clearance concerns...

I don't think the ZR2 has heigh-dependant damping, either. From what I've read, it's travel-based...different spool valves react when the piston is in different "zones" of travel inside the damper.

It would be nice to upgrade the ZL1 with all of the 1LE parts bin and aero bits, like these struts and rear spoiler and such. Not sure how well they will fit if at all

As per Mr. Wyndham, they will bolt right on. After all it's a ZL1.

The aero stuff will go on without a problem.

The only thing you'd need to worry about is the MR software freaking out by switching to the DSSV dampers. It's possible that GM could release a suspension kit with a flash to clear and silence those codes...but that's just a hope and a guess on my part.

The front looks like it sits at the correct height, finally. Shame you gotta pay an extra $10k or whatever for that. :/

I like all the black carbon fiber contrasting the Yellow. Maybe they will offer the A10 in 2020 or something....I'm hoping!

P.S. Did you get a shot of the front?

Woulda had to do it for all the after market stuff you would have needed if the 1LE was never announced anyway.
