Finally Joined the Club guys. Picked it up on Saturday and drove it home 300 miles in a driving rain storm but it's home safe and sound with a quick wash to get the grim off.

2SS, 8A, NPP, Moonroof, Nav.

Gotta give the Dealer I bought this thing from huge props as this was the easiest car purchase of my life. Tina the sales girl from Vaughn Automotive was awesome from the first contact til the time I drove away. Sheri the Finance person was first rate as well. I can't think them enough for making this work. If you are ever in Iowa look them up.

Tonight, just a few blocks from my house another F1FTY pulled up behind me at the lights - and then equal to me after we made it through. Said he just got his 5 days ago.. loves it. ( of course).

Asks me if im the guy who is always at the car wash.. Umm, no. Then his next comment.. " So, there are three of us then !!! "

Im no longer special... LoL.

Oh - ok - the cool part was when we both stepped on it.. couple of gears- WOT - sounded effin fabulous. We finally have temps where you can drive with the window cracked.. I haven't truly heard the car in months LMAO>

That's a funny story...I am waiting for it to happen to me. Especially in San Diego...I will no longer feel special.

Count me in....I picked this one up Jan. 30th. This is my retirement present. Retiring from General Motors after 38 years. Knew most of the Camaro guys, so they hooked me up with some cool posters, window flags that were used in the Camaro Parade before the Woodward Cruise (flag pics later).

Mine is number 141 in the build sequence (assuming everybody got the owners pack in the mail)

Now I have to go back and read 229 pages of this thread (damn, you guys are busy)
