Allocation available for Black A10

I have an order VBTTKG (ordered 1/23/17) for a black A10, Sunroof, Nav, Carbon Fiber Insert, Data Recorder, Zl1 Protection Package that I can maybe help someone take. I bought a identical car a few days ago by a stroke of luck that is in transit already built.
My salesman has an allocation for 4/6/2017 that he is hoping (pending any constraints) to be able to push to 2000 status. The dealership is in North Texas.
Please let me know if anyone out there wants it.

I'm not an expert on the process by any means, but if you ordered in Jan and still aren't at 2000 I don't think they really had an available allocation. Sounds like they are playing the wait and see game. I definitely welcome any corrections if I'm off.

I thought the same thing but I was shown that they have had allocations and that the dealership has 2 other Zl1's that have shown up on their lot (one that a person ordered) and one M6 available now. I have seen an allocation for another but not sure why they had a constraint for A10 at that time. He assures me that the dealership has another allocation available April 6th. Who knows but wanted to give someone the possible spot. I know there are lots of guys waiting for an A10. I had to go for the sure thing with no wait.

There was also a YouTube post by a big Chevy dealer stating that ordering was done for Camaros on 3/24.

that is correct. My order was entered on 1/23. Dealers cannot put in a new order after 3/24. If you have a order already submitted prior to 3/24 your order can still be picked up on 4/6 which is the last cycle to get your order pushed through by your dealership.. At least this is the way it was explained to me.

If at 2000 they do have an allocation and it has been picked up by GM.

He says the salesman hopes to get it pushed to 2000.

If ordering for Camaros ended 3 days ago, I wonder if that is earlier than the 2016 cut off date last year. Perhaps GM is doing something about the excess inventory.
