Non Nav to Nav upgrade
Quick question. Is it a plug and play head swap to install a factory nave unit - or is in more complicated?
Thanks! Mark |

If it's more complicated that using a usb cable to attach your phone to the port in the center console then I'm not sure why you would be bothering.

Hi mark, you don't replace the head unit, as there is no head unit in the 6th gen, its all smal part of a larger one, all you replace is the HMI unit, and yes its all plug and play, and a new antenna and your done.

I know where the HMI goes but not the GPS. Can you give me an idea?

If your car came without Nav then there is no stock place, cars that where made with NAV use the same antenna thats on your roof now, but it will cast a lot more for the splitters and cables then you want to spend.

Do you know where I can find the splitter and cable and where would I have to mount to splitter? Is it under the glove box? Thank you |
