Higher speed in reverse than normal?

This is sort of a weird problem, not sure if anyone else noticed or reported this (didn't know what to search).

In the last few days, when I leave in the morning, I must put the car in reverse. When i let off the brake, the car goes quite a bit faster out of my garage then I've ever noticed. It seems to only be when I first start the car, as when I return from even a 5 minute errand, come back and try to replicate it doesn't happen.

I'd say It's going maybe 5-6mph, in reverse... When it doesn't happen, the typical 1-2mph slow roll out.

Any ideas? The only thing I changed recently was inflated tires from 210 to about 240-250.

If you are setting off while the car is still in high idle on cold start up, that could possibly be why it goes faster. I have had that happen before in vehicles with automatics if you start to go before the rpms come off high idle.
