Chevy Performance Exhaust

I have a '16 Camaro 2SS without NPP. I was curious if upgrading to the Chevy Performance Exhaust (P/N 84028865) and wanted to know if anyone here had done so? It's axle-back, for those interested and MSRP is 1195.

Do a search on youtube- there are videos with them installed- sound nice.

You can get them cheaper than 1195.

Chev performance exhaust are made by Borla. The only difference is no Borla name on the mufflers.

I have the SS 2016-2017 Axle-Back Exhaust S-Type part # 11922
on my non NPP and it sounds amazing. Absolutely no drone.

I can think of one reason why it's a re-branded Borla.

I was curious if it was Borla. I knew that they'd work with GM/Chevy in the past but couldn't find any concrete information.

I'll swing by my Chevy dealership and see what I could get them installed for. I like that it doesn't void the warranty.

Yes, that's the main benefit of getting the GM performance exhaust vs. aftermarket; the muffler stays under warranty. Side note, adding an aftermarket exhaust should only void the warranty if it can be proven that the aftermarket exhaust caused the failure.

The other benefit of the GM system is that if you have the Bose sound system, you get a new ANC calibration that will help manage unwanted noise that comes from the new exhaust.

I have the Borla S-Type and there is zero unwanted noise. Highway cruising is absolutely silent in track mode. I pulled the fuse, and the exhaust is still silent...so I replaced the fuse.
