Roto-fab install gone bad

Hey guys,
Really a big fan of the product. Seemed like good quality. Unfortunately during install of the elbow to the box I don't think the holes in the flange lined up the way they shouldo or the milling wasn't correct. I have 3 screws that simply will not go into the elbow now even if I remove it from the box. Threaded now I'm sure. I had all the screws in and started before I tightened them down. They are threaded now. It appears in in need of an elbow, flange and screws.

If there's a issue they will send you a new part! Post some pictures to show them won't take long for them to chime in personally. Or just email or call where you bought it from.

It is the weekend so you might be out of luck until Monday!

Fixed it!

Had a buddy retap the holes in question and I drilled the 2 lower holes in the flange just a touch bigger. After that no problems. Really impressed with the product!

I'm very sorry you had problems with the install. But glad to hear you were able to get the system in tonight! We do test fit a MAF housing to each airbox to help eliminate this problem, so we will have to be more throrough during that step.

Thank you for understanding, and sorry again that your install experience was less than perfect.

It turned out not to be that big of a deal and I appreciate you guys replying to this thread. It's a testament to your customer service. I guess it could have been my fault? Maybe I should have validated the screws all fit in the housing before I assembled all 3 pieces. My buddy with the tap only charged 3 maybe 4 beers :-)

The rest of the install as well as the instructions were simple.

After you install it you realize just how massive the tub is. It looks super bad ass in there. The quality seems better than OEM as well. Can't wait to get my other mods on and some dyno time.

I had the same issue until I realized I had the "ring" part backwards. I flipped it over and all the holes lined up just fine. Glad you got it installed though.

Right, but did you try flipping the ring over while still keeping the T at the top?

WOW. VERY impressed to see Roto-Fab chimed in almost immediately - and on a weekend to boot! Kudos to them, and their Customer Service! Also, an exceptional product IMHO........

Yup, they even inboxed me. So refreshing to see American companies acting in this fashion.

I had the same issue all were fine but 1 screw. I figured 1 screw would not hurt, I fiddled with it for almost an hour lol.

I had the same issue. I also turned the ring around and then they lined up. The T is still at the top but it faces the air box so it can not be seen.
