Dont forget about the Michelin Pilot Super Sports replacement.

Michelin Pilot 4s, Michelin claims more dry traction and wet traction than the MPSS.

Have you considered an A/S tire???I'm running the BFG's Comp 2 A/S and their a great street tire that performs well in all seasons and weather conditions...I have never dragged my car but I would be confident to lower the rear tire pressure and make an occasional pass...They are also speed rated A which I believe is over 180mph with an estimated life of 35,000 miles...My car is a DD as well...

I daily the Firestone Firehawks. All around amazing tire for the money as far as handling goes. WOT first gear is not happening for me so I have to roll into it but second gear hooks well on the 1-2. You pretty much need an R compound tire to even think about applying power to the street. Tires are tough decisions to make. I chose the Firehawks simply because I drive around 20k miles a year. Good luck OP on making a decision.

NT05R only comes in 315's on 20 in rim size it looks like.

Looks like the NT555R is the only option for stock size rims.

if you are not adding tons of power anytime soon a regular 275/20 Nt05 will hook all that up in your sig easy and last longer then the R compound. They will also fit stock wheels.

You mean the NT555? Not the 555R?

I saw them while looking. Thought they looked good. Can they hold up to a good dead stop launch though?
