I could have probably negotiated a better price at the time of ordering, but the allocations were rare and I wanted to be fair with the dealer. My hope was that they'd return the favor and provide better service. I wasn't treated badly, but I didn't really feel like a priority either. So I'm not sure it made much difference in the end.
