You said it, awesome ride, congrats! What did they end up quoting you on clear bra and tint?

Thanks! This car should bring a lot of fun to our lives for a long time - I'm sure the thrill will never get old

The clear bra was just over $1K, tint $200 - after being told much higher prices before (literally double), as soon as we started talking to the accessories dept they said we got special pricing because we ordered through the internet department, and then they were taking another 10% off because we just bought the car through them. This includes the full front fascia, front of the hood, fenders, rear-view mirrors, pillars, front portion of the roof and door guard strips. We will probably look at it again to make sure we are including all the pieces we think are most at risk for chipping damage before we sit down to have it done. They are 3-4 business days out on their scheduling, so we will decide over the weekend and set it up early next week.

Ours started at $800 clear bra, $300 tint, then we added headlight, front splitter for $290, now waiting on a quote for bottom side kick panels (black pieces) the Toronto and rear kick panels behind wheels was told maybe $550. So getting close to $2,000, but it's a lot of clear bra. We have to wit until Tuesday and they are keeping it two days My car had 22 miles on it when we got it.

Ours had 9 miles:

Name: IMG_0227[1].jpg

It had 6 when it got to the first rail yard (according to OnStar), and the dealer had to drive it to the local gas station for the fill-up because they don't have premium onsite - so we figured they drove it about 2 miles during the PDI and to move it around the dealership. I think my 2010 had around 20 on it when I got it.

Did anybody else note their mileage upon delivery?

Mine had 15 miles when it rolled off the truck at the dealer and 19 when I picked it up. The 4 extra were moving it around the dealer to do the prep work and taking it to fill it with gas.

Happy for everyone it is really nice to see all the new cars and people. Needless to say I'm less than pleased with GM's logistics unit when it comes to delivery of a pre sold unit. Maybe it will fade away when I see my new car. In the meantime I'm living vicariously thru you all so keep all the pics and info coming.

Be safe out there.

You will forget all about the time it took to get it once you have it - you will be too excited about everything related to the car to remember "what came before"

Have you gotten any location updates? I found that OnStar would periodically lose connection for a while and assumed that the rail car was in a location where it couldn't get a signal (maybe a tunnel or a crowded rail yard). I think it went to sleep soon after reaching the Phoenix rail yard because I saw it there the morning it arrived, then later in the day it stopped being able to connect for the rest of the day. Then next morning it was back, and it had been moved to the parking lot - I assume it "woke up" when they started it to unload it.

After that OnStar worked pretty much every time I checked - and I used Family Link to set a boundary alert so I would know when it was moved to the dealer. The disappointing thing was that the boundary alert didn't go off until the car was started at the dealer to be unloaded from the truck - so if your car is loaded on a transport, the alert is not triggered until the car is started in a location outside the boundary - it doesn't seem to actually track the car in real time unless it is running. You can get location updates when it is on a transport (like the trucks or rail cars), but the alert didn't get triggered by that movement.

I hope you are having better luck with it now, and I hope you are close to delivery!

Our car had 5 miles on it when the dealer received it. 12 after PDI and 13 when we picked it up. Guess the extra mile after PDI was for gas or maybe just moving it around if it was close to turning over from 12 to 13.

Seven extra miles after dealer recieved it?

How close is the gas station?

Hopefully they refueled it prior to PDI.....

Mine had 5 miles on it just from lot movement at the plant..... without any railyard and multiple carrier tranfers....

I would have figured closer to 12 at dealer arrival......
