SW and Flowmaster have a little deeper tone but with that comes some drone (hard to quantify because everyone has a different tolerance), and the Magnaflow is very deep but very very droney, I had that on my car initially and took it off after a week because I couldn't have a conversation with someone sitting in the passenger seat because the drone was so bad.

With the R&D comes a price, Borla is expensive but it's got no drone, I didn't want to pay up at first but I learned my lesson and eventually paid up because it was worth it to me. My next step will be to get some headers.

Here's what my set up sounds like if your curious:

My main reason for getting this set up was because I had a bad experience with drone on my Magnaflow, after some research people consistently reported that Borla had no drone. It was expensive, but so were all the other options if you wanted to keep your AFM & NPP valves. I've been happy with mine ever since, it's got great sound, it's loud on WOT, and it's quiet with the valves closed when you are just cruising or commuting. For me that's exactly what I was looking for.

+1 , I was really bothered by spending so much money on my setup. But after installing the system I have no regrets about my Borla purchase. I think it makes the LT1 sound purrrrfect. NO drone yet its extremely loud at WOT.

Wonder what it will sound like when i get my Kooks LTs on.

Nice... I'm actually planning to do Kooks on mine also! Do you have stock mid pipes or one of the Borla midpipes?
