I like RWL tires but not when the letters are huge on low profile tires. These letters just overpower the whole tire.

Looks like just too much white and too big for the low profile tires.

PS: I'm just not feeling it on the white walls between the letters that just not right

If they were this size compared to the sidewall
Me neither

In my younger days I would have ordered a set that said " I am a d1ck" and put them on my neighbors car, because he was.

Good luck trying to keep them bright white after driving. That's what killed the raised white letters years ago. Giant pain in the ass, especially for a daily.

I had real white letters on a couple cars back in the day. These new ones dont bother me. The cartoonish look is kinda fun. I couldnt pull it off lol.

I've been doing white letters on my Goodyear Eagle F1's way before these giant letter decals became a thing. I use pain old whiteout. Tires have to be totally clean. I do my best to stay in the lines, and then go over them almost immediately with mild paint thinner on the edge of a paper towel. Takes about 2 full hours to do the bottom and top letters of all 4 wheels cleanly. Lasts about a month, and its much more simply than the decals. However, my car is black on black (black rims with black body paint) so its still pretty visible.

I only do this very occasionally now since my car is a daily driver. If I happen to go all out and give it a good detail, I might do the tire letters the next day.

Not a fan of decals. You're basically ignoring the existing lettering on your tires with much bigger cutouts. You could literally slap a letter cutout for a tire that costs 4x more than what you're really running with. I don't see the point.

IMO you don't talk the talk unless you and your car can walk the walk. Doing anything to make your car "look fast" invites a lot of attention / competition. I've seen one gen6 with the lettering that had a matte grey wrap and it looked good but I don't think it's for me.

Your car looks badass, dude. I bet you get plenty of 'friendly competition' roll up on you at a red light.
I have a similar looking grey SS, I get all kinds of people roll up and want to race. Like a dude driving his Mom's minivan the other night

LOL, thanks man. Yeah it's mostly people who just want to see it go. Making a quick rip is kind of like letting the rest of the world know you have nuclear weapons...it keeps the peace
