I just did the Chevy.com chat room and had them check my order and it is now at 3400. You just have to ask. Also they are going to send me weekly emails with event codes until it is shipped. I didn't know that they did that.

Do you have your TPW yet? Any news?
My order was just picked up at the beginning of this cycle, still at 2000 as of today via becky. dealer thinks i'll have a TPW by the end of the week, but it's the same dealer as KLR ZL1 so i could easily start bouncing around too.

I probably won't make the 3/27 list, but I don't care if I get the car I want, with the options I want.
Thanks. As I said, there are so many factors that go into the timeline from factory to delivery. After a vehicle is produced the manufacturer will accumulate cars going to similar destinations. From there the either go to rail or truck shipping or a combination of those. Then distance and weather become the paramount determining factor. Of course sometime a problem surfaces and Quality Assurance can hold vehicles for inspection or correction. I'll just be glad to know it's built and en route. It has been a long time since GEN6 ZL1 announcement with A10 until now.

So true. MLEE's car sat for 2 weeks in the lot waiting on train. Hopefully they will ship faster now that it seems like production has amped up.

I believe that next week, 3/20, is a non-production week at the plant so no early builds for us. Hopefully they can get everything prepared to jump back on full production come 3/27 and crank out our cars.

I'm not raining on anyone's parade but I will say this. There's nothing wrong with being optimistic when your status code advances however too many examples of TPWs being moved around and event status changed from 3400 to 3000 or worse yet people moved back to 1000 exist. Anything can change. My order went to 2000 the day I placed my order. Within three days it was at 3000. After a month I was finally issued a TPW of 5/1 which was moved up to 4/17 just a few days ago. It's been fairly positive for me because my order hasn't experienced any setbacks. I could very easily become another statistic if my order unravels. When the car is in my driveway I'll rest. Not before.

1) I am not aware of any order getting to 2000 being moved back to 1000 or 110x and keeping the original order nuber. I would appreciate directions to such posts.

2) Very wise to defer resting "easy" until the order is in the driveway.

I believe I first read of someone getting dropped back to 1100 from KLRZL1 . That has since been remedied for now though there are other posts of members at 1100 currently. I do not know the event status movement on all of them. I was able to locate this one because the initial post was earlier in this particular thread.

Yes that was only because of what my dealer did and the 1100 was short lived. All the other changes to my order were Chevy plant changes and it bounced around from 3 different TPWs.

So it looks like the original order (misgiven to KLR ZL1 per his dealer) proceeded and KLR ZL1 needed to start from the beginning with a new order. I understand the confusion as the SRE ordering process has more exceptions than rules. It can be a roller coaster ride, especially if ordering a new model or a new generation of an existing model or if the order includes a non-vanilla option.

Yes exactly. It just was making me mad that because of the dealer's screwup I had so many different dates but stayed at 3000 after it got picked back up. Mind you this all happen within 2 weeks and then our orders got put on hold for whatever reason, which I still think it had to do with the A10 not scheduling because all that were affected had the A10 as an option.

Did you ever track the original order that was taken away from you? It would be interesting to see how it has advanced through the process.
