I'm hoping whipple does not disappoint because their claim of 600hp to the tires for a m6 is what got me I just wish we had some vids or dyno results

The cooling is basically the same on the Maggie and the E-Force. Only big difference is where/how the IATs are measured.

I can only speak to the e-force in regards to direct experience. This is my DD. It's bonkers as a DD and incredibly enjoyable. You can easily modulate the throttle and get as much or as little power as you want. It's awesome in traffic, especially when you want to goose it briefly in 2nd gear at 3,000 rpms and have it instantly blow the tires off real quick and make everyone beside you do a double take, lol. I do wish there was some SC whine though.

It does feel noticeably slower in the summer months though especially in traffic, due to the high IAT'S and reduced timing advance as a result. But in cooler months when your IAT'S are at least under 130, it's awesome.

It will drive great as a daily as well but I think most are buying it with intentions to track it. My intentions are for a daily driver and I think the Maggie is more for me.

I'm on page 15 of your thread and still reading when I can. Your driving style, wants, and needs mirror mine almost exactly. I have an M6 and live in a cold state where my car is park at least 3 months out of the year and up to 5 months. All the detail in your thread is very helpful, and anyone reading this current thread with the same questions in mind should check your link. As of now, I want the whipple. The slow turn around time to actually get one would be the only reason I don't. The power curve and maintenance of the pro-charger are turning me away from them. To me those set backs outweigh the possible heat soak of the P.D styles. Heat soak can often be corrected with more cooling anyway.

I think the heat soak for a daily is a non-issue, for track cars, yes.

What tires do you run? This is actually what I'm not wanting lol. I don't want to have to feather heavily and wonder what power I left on the table based on my traction concerns. I don't want to run DR's or a sticky tire that I have to change every 10k. I want to keep my power on the ground and only have to feather my throttle on the low gear, high rpm side of my power curve.

What are the IAT's you see in this example, and what are the ambient temps typically? Once you get some clean air to it and start moving, does it cool down?

The spinning comment I made was more applicable to the stock Goodyear run flats on days cooler than 65 degrees or so. Now I'm running pilot super sports, and In the same scenario they will break free by 4,000 rpms at WOT in 2nd gear. You can feather it some and be fine. Third gear is fine now in any temp. Pulls hard. Above 65 degrees 2nd gear WOT usually hooks while maybe barely spinning as you're going, but not blowing the tires off.

IAT'S in the example I'm speaking of would be 110-120 or so, with ambient of say 55 degrees. And yes once you give it some throttle the IAT'S drop some.
It's when you're sitting still in a traffic jam when they get crazy high. Sitting still in a traffic jam I have seen as much as 90 degrees over ambient. Once you get moving again good after that traffic jam you'll be 60-65 over. Gentle driving say after a cold start and 15 min later, you'll average 45-55 over with the E-force. That's my observations anyway.

I've read a pile, and spoke to a few shops. I'm going to go pro-charger on mine. What did the OP go with, I don't know that I seen his decision?

I went with whipple at this point since I felt the Maggie didn't put enough power out for me on the can tune. I may switch though if after tomorrow my dealer does not give me hopeful news. Whipple and Maggie are only ones out with can tune for 2017 at this time. Pro charger and eforce keep saying a few weeks.

Awesome! That's such a tough choice to make, and I really don't think any of them is a bad choice. Whipple was the one I was really gunning for. The unknowns and delayed shipping got me into looking at pro charger. Let us know how it goes for you.

I am testing our 2017 programing option today actually.
So I will have the green light on "now shipping" in a matter of 48hrs or less.

Thanks!
