Clock autoset and DST

Does anyone know why the auto set function is not recognizing daylight saving time? It keeps reverting back after i set it manually and switch back to auto. Perhaps it is related to trial version of onstar and not a subscription? I'm not sure just looking for ideas

I have not yet (lazy) set the DST on my Camaro yet because it's under a cover and haven't had it long enough to have ever set it before. But, on my other vehicles, you don't reset the time. You just select/deselect DST and they adjust the time. Did I make sense?

I'm pretty sure the auto set uses your data connection or phone to set the time, maybe something related to those?
